Easy File Adding by Drag & Drop

To add files to component, drag & drop the target from the Windows desktop or explorer is easy and useful. Also, in variety of situations, the intuitive and effective operations are possible because of the correspondence with the Windows' drag & drop and other common operations.

Drag & drop operation makes the easy adding of files to component.

Component

ARCSeeker makes it possible to register the gatherings of multiple files in unit. This unit is called "component" in ARCSeeker.

Component is easy to create by executing the "Create New Component" button or import Packages from Enterprise Architect. Once the component is created, all kinds of attributes can be added to and multiple files are able to be stored in it. The created component is stored in the area called "storage."

Storage

Storage can be created by specifying the Windows' arbitrary directory. Creating a storage in the network drive enables multiple users to use the storage.

Easy Tagging

It is possible to add variety of information to component. For example, by using the function of tagging, the information, like "when," "by whom," and "in what purpose" the component is created, is added as an item.

History Saving Function

You can use the saving function of component history. It is possible to set the component's dependency relationship per history version.

Relationship between Components

Relationship can be defined between components. The function of relationship diagram allows relationship to be checked and modified visually.

By the display function of relationship diagram, it is easy to figure out the impact when component has some problems or modifications.

Displaying Group List

Displaying group list is a function which is convenient when doing the indefinite search with no specific keywords. It displays components in category per value, which is stored in the specific items. When multiple items are specified, category will be hierarchy.

Category is switched freely. It allows up to eight-tier.

Using Information Stored in Component

The files stored in component are easily used by double click and drag & drop. It also has the function of files batch output. Additionally, ARCSeeker API makes it possible to use the component information in user unique format.

Search Methods

ARCSeeker is able to find your target components by variety of search methods. As well as the term search finds the terms in the components, the term search in the component-stored-files, date information search, and keyword search are available. It also is possible to search by combining these fragmentary information ARCSeeker can search what simple word search cannot do.
